This Retro Holiday Cocktail Party Printables post has been sponsored by Avery and compensation was received for my time in developing it. All thoughts, ideas & opinions are my own.
I’m not going to lie. Putting this post together really made me want to throw a holiday cocktail party, or hope that someone else would, and invite me to it. “Oh, how fun,” would be an understatement as to how to describe these goodies.
As usual, this non-DIYer took the easy route and put this entire collection together using Avery products. You can be fancy, without wanting to pull your hair out, and these printables prove it.
If you are planning to throw a holiday soiree this season, I hope that these designs will provide you with some inspiration, and show you how easy it is to put together.
You can’t have a party without invitations, so I came up with this design in my favorite, retro style. I’ve been a big fan of Avery Matte White Postcards (8387) for years now but thought that an invitation warranted a larger size, so I tried out Avery White Postcards (5389) for the first time and loved them just as much.
The cards are perforated, so there is no trimming required— plus your designs can print to the edge without a problem.
Several Avery products have a unique feature called Trueblock, which ensures that you won’t see through the label— a perfect choice for address or shipping labels. For this project, I used Avery TrueBlock Shipping Labels (5163) to create some matching address stickers.
They printed easy as pie, with no streaking and no jamming, which is the last thing you want to be dealing with over the holidays. Whether you’re using Avery products for holiday party invitations or your greeting cards, I highly recommend their entire line of Surefeed Technology products, which you can find here. Additionally, you need to check out how easy it is to use Avery’s mail merge tool. Who says the holidays have to be stressful?
The last component to this trio are these snazzy looking gift tags. I love sending guests home with a little something special, and this is hands-down the easiest way to do it.
I picked up some sweet party bags at Target, tied a little satin ribbon, and attached my tags. And yes, I added a backing design, because details are everything!
This was yet another no-construction-needed-project, thanks to Avery Printable Tags with Strings (22802). These would make excellent gift tags for your regular gift giving as well!
