Your weekly free printable inspirational quote awaits!
If there’s anyone who had stuff to complain about, it was Abraham Lincoln. Before he assumed the most powerful position in the country, he was born into humble beginnings, suffered the loss of his fiancé, numerous political defeats, a seventeen year battle with debt, and worst of all, the loss of his two young sons, all while battling depression.
He never blamed others for the cards he was dealt, but continually sought ways to improve, with the conviction that the only way he could go was up. It was only through perseverance and a dash of humor that he was able to overcome his challenges and go on to become one of the most beloved figures in American history.
