At the beginning of the year, I shared that one of my goals for 2015 was to read more books. I did a very poor job sticking with that resolution, reading a grand total of one book during the first 8 months of the year, (and that one was in January). When August rolled around, I picked up a recommendation from many of my favorite podcasters (The 4 Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferriss), and that book was like a domino, because I’ve been devouring book after book ever since. I was a major bookworm as a kid, and I feel like my old self has returned.
While most of what I have been reading has been self-help, businessy-entrepreneur type books, there have been a few novels as well. My early goal for 2016 is to revisit some of my old favorite classics, like the Little House Series, and maybe if I’m feeling really optimistic, I’ll dig into some poetry. This is the second Emily Dickinson quote that I’ve shared this year, and her writing has left me intrigued to explore more!
If this is your first time coming across a Motivation Monday post, here’s a little rundown of how it works:
Every week, I design an inspirational art print that is shared with my readers, as a free printable. The download is posted every Monday, and is available for an entire week. The free download expires the following Monday, when a new design is posted.
The best way to make sure you don’t miss a week, is to stay connected through my email mailing list. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do so right here.
This Free Printable has expired, but can be purchased here. To see the latest free printable download available, look here.
If you’ve missed out on past Motivation Mondays, you can now subscribe to entire library of over 100 designs, for $29, for an entire year.
