About Michelle Hickey, editor of Elegance and Enchantment Blog, and owner of Enchanted Prints invitations and stationery

Hi there! I’m Michelle, a graphic designer, blogger and the creator of Elegance & Enchantment, The Enchanting Mondays Library and Enchanted Prints. The first inception of this blog started as an extension of my invitation and stationery business and evolved into a place where I can share all of my creative endeavors and be a source of encouragement.

You can find your weekly dose of inspiration through my Enchanting Mondays art printables (over 175 designs and counting) in addition to the many free printables I share for holidays, weddings, parties, and home decor.

While I’m a professionally trained designer, I’m a self-taught blogger and entrepreneur. It’s a career that I cannot recommend enough! If you have ever thought about starting your own blog or creative business, I created this site just for you.

My hubby James and I are both native New Yorkers, and lived in Central Connecticut for five years before relocating to the Sunshine State, where we now live with our three adorable kitties. Since warm weather and Walt Disney World are two of my favorite things (and golf being James’ favorite thing), Florida has proven to be the perfect spot for us.

I feel extremely blessed to have this “job”, and thank God every day for the amazing life he has given me. I’m a huge believer in doing what you love, following your dreams and practicing acts of kindness and gratitude along the way.

Now that you’ve gotten to know me a little better, I would love to get to know YOU!  I love connecting with fellow bloggers, designers, crafters, and readers. The best way to make sure you get access to all of my free designs and resources is to hop on my mailing list, which you can do right here.

I’m so happy to have found your blog thru City Farmhouse Inspiration Exchange. I enjoyed reading your profile. I’m an older person, call myself the senior paper crafter as paper crafting is on of many creative endeavors I enjoy. I used to do more and still do some wood projects, designing and painting them, etc. but am limited somewhat by after affects of a few accidents and dadgumed arthritis. Not fun but try to work around it. I have already enjoyed so much looking at your projects and posts. Happy days to you.

JaneEllen, thank you SO much for stopping by! It sounds like you are way more talented than I am. My skills kinda stop with designing, but I aspire to be a better DIYer. Hope to see you back again soon. :)

Natalie, thank you so very much for your sweet words. I’m happy to hear that you are taking up designing! It’s so much fun and it sounds like you have a great passion, which is the most important ingredient. While I’m not offering any one-on-one sessions at this time, if you have any design questions, please let me know and I will do my best to address them in a blog post. In the meantime, you can check out some of my articles on the topic to get you started! Best wishes to you — can’t wait to follow your success!

    Hi Michelle
I’ve been receiving your ‘Graphic Goodies of the week’ emails for a while & needed to change my email address, however I could not find a way to edit so I clicked on ‘unsubscribe’ to see if it gave me options, but it just deleted me :(
How can I sign up again with my new address?
    Thank you!
