This week’s thoughts and inspirational message were written by our newest contributor, Janna Madsen. I know that her thoughtful story will inspire you!
I love the symbolism in this verse and how, in such a brief sentence, it captures the parallel between the growing light of day and the path of the righteous. This plays on one of scripture’s greatest themes – light – in a beautiful and meaningful way. I picture a person looking down a path, choosing to walk it, and then seeing it come into clearer focus with each step he takes, all the while gaining confidence that yes, this is the way he should be walking. And as I meditate on this verse, I am reminded of the beauty of the sunrise in all its glorious color, and the gradual light it brings as the day goes on, and I am challenged to pursue the path of the righteous.
