Your weekly free printable inspirational quote awaits!
I’m going through a busy season of life, and I know that so many of you are right there with me. Between moving into our new home, welcoming new baby nieces and nephews, traveling and preparing for the holidays, my head is spinning. I’m grateful for the providence that this year has brought, but I’ve also experienced bouts of stress and frustration as a result.
How could I, in my right mind, be stressed about all these wonderful blessings? I know exactly why! It’s because I didn’t leave room in my life to actually enjoy them. I loaded my schedule up with tasks that didn’t need to be done and commitments that I should have never taken on. I said “yes” to the point of resentment.
As I stood in a beautifully decorated room, with my adorable nephew in my arms, surrounded by lovely women, celebrating my sweet sister and baby-to-be over the weekend, I had a major reality check. These moments are precious and few and should be celebrated to the max. Without the distraction of worrying about the emails that are sitting in my inbox or the tasks unchecked on my to-do list.
This week, I invite you to join me in making a commitment to enjoy the blessings that have been gifted to us fully, and making room for all those to come.
