Guest Room Printables

Elegance and Enchantment Guest Room Printable Art

Last month, our guest room got a mini makeover! My sister and cousin were coming into town to stay with us for the week and I wanted to clean up the space a bit and update the decor. A full guest room reveal will follow sometime in the fall, but for now, I have some goodies to share!

My family is pretty attached to their smart phones, laptops and tablets, and they almost always accompany them when they come in to visit. Because we live so far away, our visitors are usually here to stay for at least a few days, so it doesn’t take long before they are asking if they can jump on our wifi network. As you can see above, we have just about the longest, most obnoxious password in existence, so I finally decided to turn it into a piece of artwork, to make things a little easier. The PDF download below is customizable so you can type in your own password (hopefully less complex than ours)!

Along with this internet password sign, I also created two more prints, “I Love You, A Bushel and a Peck” and “Be Our Guest”.

This song lyric from Guys and Dolls has significance for both my family and my husband’s. We have a hysterical old home movie of my sister lip singing this song at age 3, which we still laugh about today. This song was also one of my hubby’s Grandma’s favorite songs, and she was known to bust out her own rendition of it from time to time. Whenever I hear the song, I think of Grandma Jean and my sister, and I knew that our families would both love it.

These are adorable! That tune is often heard hummed or sung lovingly off-key around our home :) so this would be a perfect addition to a gallery wall here. Thanks!

Thanks for posting all these fantastic printables! I JUST started really putting together our new guest room (we moved not that long ago and the guest room ended up being the last room to get worked on, particularly since this is our first place with a guest room) and these printables are perfect for it! I particularly like the wifi password printable. My family’s pretty attached to their electronics too. :)

Hey Claire! Congratulations on your new home! I’m so excited that you’ll be able to use my printables in your guest room. Will you be posting any photos on your blog? I just had the chance to check it out and it is fantastic. You had me at Chai Tea Macarons. Either way, I’m so glad we connected and I look forward to reading more of your recipes! :)

I have not been able to find the printables for Be My Guest or for the I Love You a Bushel and a Peck. If you could please tell me how to locate them I would appreciate it. Thank you.

Hi Barb! I don’t think that Kim {Today’s Creative Blog} has posted them just yet. I will follow up with her and let you know when they are available. :)

    wow! That looks awfully familiar!

I guess Pinterest is for regurgitating content. /:

Hi Jess! Love your print and we’ve obviously both got great taste and a similar style. I see things every day on Pinterest and elsewhere that look very similar to my work (my hubby will even point it out to me sometimes) but I think that’s a reality of working in a creative field, that there’s going to be some overlap. I try to see it as that we all have our own unique twist on projects and that will appeal to different individuals. In this case, I love that your print is more graphic and modern looking AND that since it’s in black and white, no color ink is needed to print it. Win! As an artist I have the upmost consideration and respect for fellow designers and bloggers and would never intentionally copy or rip off another person’s work. I hope you understand and maybe even perhaps we could collaborate on something in the future? :)

Tried to add our Wi-Fi Password to the printable file, and my password is one character too long (and not as long as the password in your image). Any help there?

We’re having family here for Christmas, and figured I would post this somewhere.

    Thanks for the artwork!

Hi Betty! You can actually edit the formatting of the font, so it’s a smaller size (and you can also change the color and font too!). Check out my post on how to do so here and let me know if you run into any problems!

Thank you! I downloaded the wifi password printable art and I love it! :)

  • Reply Leslah September 9, 2015 at 10:15 am

Love your wifi sign, however, our password is too long that it won’t fit in the the space and its un-editable to change the point of the font! Any idea on how to fix?! Would love to use it!
