The countdown to Thanksgiving is officially on! To the folks who have written in to ask when these place cards were going to be posted, I’m sorry for leaving you hanging! Things have been pretty crazy over here at Elegance & Enchantment Headquarters, with three big launches in the last couple weeks: 2016 Desk Calendars, Advent Calendars AND celebrating my 100th Motivation Monday Printable. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling ready to put my feet up and enjoy the holidays.
If you are hosting Thanksgiving this year, these place cards will add instant loveliness to your table. Not only do they serve a functional purpose of instructing your guests where to sit, but they provide easy decor as well. The cards are available for download in chalkboard black, and white, so you have your pick!
If you happen to be great at hand lettering (a skill I’m still trying to master) you can write in each of your guests’ names with a marker or pen. Otherwise, you can open up the file in Adobe Reader and type your names in there, as I have done, using this beautiful font called Edelweis.
Just a quick note that if you do plan on typing in your own text, please make sure to save the PDF to your desktop before adding the text, otherwise it will not save properly. If you need any assistance figuring out how to change the fonts, colors and placement of the text, you can refer to this article I wrote back in the day.
This design is part of a series of free Thanksgiving printables that I’m sharing this year. In case you missed out on downloading the rest of this suite, you can find the matching file downloads here. The best way to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the many freebies that I share is to hop on the mailing list, which you can do right here.
These cards were designed just for Today’s Creative Life readers, so you will need to scoot over there to grab your freebie. While you are there, please check out some of the awesome holiday features that Miss Kim has shared lately!
