Today’s event is not your typical Southern wedding. Rather than a warm and cozy outdoor space, this couple was able to transform an ordinary community center into a beautiful, modern and trendy atmosphere for their guests. Their day was dabbled with rich, purple details and a lot of smiles. An adorable “first look” moment was captured beautifully by photographer Ava Moore Photography, before the day’s festivities began. Ava shares more about her experience being part of this couple’s wedding:
This gorgeous wedding was at 701 Whaley in downtown Columbia, SC not too far from Charleston, SC. It is a treasure! It is a restored 1903 community center that is absolutely breathtaking! The gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, the patina on the walls, and the ability to suspend your wedding cake is all very unique! This naked wedding cake was surrounded by purple hydrangeas. Stunning! This wedding was elegant, classic, refined…deep purples, gorgeous style, filled with happiness and emotion!
