Every year, I rack my brain trying to figure out the perfect gifts for the wonderful clients who I freelance design for. The Italian in me usually goes to something food related, and my sweet tooth usually leads to something involving chocolate. This year I came up with a personalized initial mug for each client, filled with a packet of hot chocolate mix, candy canes and Hershey’s kisses— the perfect combination for a snowy day.
A gift from a designer wouldn’t be complete without a gift tag! I created and printed these tags with a modern backer and tied it to the mugs with some baker’s twine.
It took me trips to three different Target’s but I was able to find mugs with everyone’s individual initials on them. They were so cute, I even had to get one for myself (why does that always seem to happen when I’m Christmas shopping?).
My Day 5 gift to you, is a printable set of tags to use on your own gifts this season. The PDF includes a space for you to type your own names in! The font I used for my name is called Melany Lane.
